Tiered Amber Glass Chandelier — rounded glass tiles, marbled in amber, gold and clear, lapped over one another down a brass-tone frame like slates on a roof.

Unlit it hangs as a warm, stone-like canopy that holds its shape in daylight. Switched on, the light finds its way through the marbling and out between the seams, so the whole thing turns honey and shifts as you move around it.

3 Sizes ⌀ 23.6″ to ⌀ 39.4″
From a breakfast table to a full dining room — the tiers grow with the span.
Shingled Overlapping Glass Tiles
Tiles lap over each other like roof slates, so the canopy reads solid, not gappy.
12″ Drop, Custom on Request
30cm supplied as standard; longer or shorter made to order.
E14 Candelabra Sockets
Standard E14 bulbs — warm white turns the amber to honey.

What you'll see inside
• The marbling inside a single tile, up close
• How the tiles overlap and the brass hooks that hold them
• The canopy lit and unlit, from below and from the side
• All three sizes to scale, with dimensions
× Enlarged view - tiered amber glass chandelier, marbled amber glass tiles, brass-tone frame, dimensions
Key Features
  • Marbled glass, no two tiles alike. Amber, gold and clear run through each tile in different proportions, so the canopy has variation built into it rather than repeating one printed pattern.
  • Shingled, not slatted. The tiles overlap like roof slates instead of hanging in separate strips, which is why the fixture reads as one solid mass from across the room and still lets light through the seams.
  • Wide and low, not tall. Even the largest is under 28″ deep against 39.4″ across, so it spreads over a table rather than dropping into the room — easier on ceiling height than most chandeliers this wide.
  • Drop made to your ceiling. A 12″ (30cm) drop comes as standard and custom lengths are available on request, so a stairwell or a 10ft ceiling doesn't need a workaround.
  • Warm glass, warm metal. Amber glass on a brass-tone frame is the least demanding colour pairing there is — it sits with wood, leather, cream and black without asking the room to change.

Which size to order
Small ⌀ 23.6″ — breakfast tables 36–48″ wide, entryways, bedrooms, rooms around 11×12ft. Comfortable on an 8ft ceiling.
Medium ⌀ 31.5″ — the usual dining choice. Tables 48–60″ wide, rooms around 15×16ft. Fine on 8ft over a table, better on 9ft.
Large ⌀ 39.4″ — long tables 60–84″, open-plan rooms around 19×20ft, hotel and restaurant spaces. Plan on 9ft as a minimum.

Sizing rule: add your room's length and width in feet — that number in inches is roughly the diameter to aim for. Over a table, keep the lowest glass 30–36″ above the top.

Buying Advice

Three Things to Settle Before You Order

1. Size to the table, not to the room. The most common mistake with a wide chandelier is going one size too small so it looks lost over a big table. Over a dining table, aim for a fixture roughly 12″ narrower than the table itself — that is medium for a 48–60″ table, large for anything longer.

2. Tell us your drop at the order stage. The standard 12″ suits a normal ceiling. If you have 10ft, a stairwell, or want it lower over an island, ask for a custom length before it ships — extending on site never looks right, and shortening it afterwards means taking tiles off a fixture that is already hung.

3. Get the bulbs in and book the electrician. Bulbs aren't included — warm white 2700K E14s, plus a spare from the same pack so the colour still matches later. Cooler bulbs drain the amber out of the glass and make it look grey. And because it's hardwired with no plug, nothing goes up until a qualified pair of hands is there.

Plan the Install Before It Arrives

This One Takes a Professional

Be straight with yourself about this: it is hardwired, and every glass tile is hooked on by hand. On the large size that is a lot of tiles. Not a 20-minute job, and not a solo one.

Every Tile Wrapped Separately

The frame and the tiles ship apart, each tile individually wrapped and cushioned. Unpack onto a soft surface, sort the tiles by tier, and count them against the parts list before anything goes up.

Drop First, Then Glass

Hang and wire the bare frame and set the drop to its final height before a single tile goes on. Adjusting it afterwards means stripping the glass off again — the most common way this install goes wrong.

A Rated, Braced Ceiling Box

There is no plug and no cord. Fully glazed this is a heavy fixture, especially at ⌀ 39.4″, so the ceiling box must be rated for the load and braced to a joist. Have a licensed electrician confirm it before install day.

Installer's Checklist
• Work from the top tier down, moving around the circle so the weight stays balanced
• Keep the overlap consistent — a tile hung out of sequence breaks the shingle pattern and shows from below
• Fit the bulbs before the lower tiers go on; reaching in afterwards is awkward
• Mix the tiles as you go rather than working through one wrapped bundle — the marbling varies, and spreading it looks better than clustering it
• Keep the packaging until it's fully assembled and switched on
Questions, Answered

Before You Buy

Which of the three sizes should I order, and what ceiling height do I need?
The small is ⌀ 23.6″ × H 15.4″ (Ø 60 × H 39 cm) — breakfast tables 36–48″ wide, entryways and bedrooms, rooms around 11×12ft, comfortable on an 8ft ceiling. The medium is ⌀ 31.5″ × H 18.1″ (Ø 80 × H 46 cm) and is the usual dining choice: tables 48–60″ wide, rooms around 15×16ft. The large is ⌀ 39.4″ × H 27.2″ (Ø 100 × H 69 cm) for long tables of 60–84″, open-plan rooms around 19×20ft and hospitality spaces; plan on a 9ft ceiling as a minimum. All three are fixture-only measurements with a 12″ drop on top. Two quick rules: add your room's length and width in feet and aim for that number in inches of diameter; over a table, choose a fixture about 12″ narrower than the table and keep the lowest glass 30–36″ above the top.
How far does it hang down, and can I have it longer?
A 30 cm (12″) drop is included as standard, which suits a normal 8–9ft ceiling: with the medium size that puts the whole fixture around 30″ below the ceiling. Custom lengths are available on request — so for a 10ft ceiling, a stairwell or a lower hang over an island, tell us the drop you want and it is made to length before shipping. Do settle this at the order stage: a drop that is too short can't be extended neatly on site, and one that is too long has to be shortened after the fixture is hung, which on a glazed chandelier means taking tiles off again. Measure floor to ceiling, subtract the fixture height, and work back from where you want the lowest glass to sit.
How difficult is the installation?
More involved than a plain pendant, and we would rather say so up front. It is hardwired — no plug, no cord — so it mounts to a ceiling junction box that must be rated for the load and braced to a joist; we recommend a licensed electrician, and the ⌀ 39.4″ size in particular is heavy once glazed. The frame and tiles ship separately, and once the frame is hung each tile is hooked on by hand, tier by tier. Three points that save real trouble: set the drop to its final height before any glass goes on, because adjusting it afterwards means stripping tiles off; keep the overlap consistent, since a tile hung out of sequence breaks the shingle pattern and shows from below; and mix the tiles as you work rather than emptying one bundle at a time, so the marbling spreads evenly. Allow an hour or two and a second pair of hands. If a tile arrives broken, send us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we will send a replacement — no need to return the whole fixture.
What bulbs does it take, and how warm is the light?
It uses standard E14 bulbs, not included, so order them ahead of install day along with a spare from the same pack. A warm white around 2700K is the right choice: the amber marbling only comes alive under a warm bulb, while a cool white drains the colour and leaves the glass looking grey. The light itself is warm and layered rather than bright and even — it passes through the marbling in patches and escapes between the overlapping tiles, so you get pools of honey-toned light rather than a flat wash. That is ideal over a dining table or in a living room; if the room also needs working light, plan on downlights or lamps alongside. Rated AC 110–240V, indoor dry locations only. For dimming, use dimmable E14 bulbs with a compatible wall dimmer — standard bulbs won't dim on their own.

Rectangular panels of textured glass overlap in descending tiers, hung from a slim brass frame with a fixed stem. Our Advantages

Four-step process of hand-blown swirl glass discs being shaped in an artisan workshop
1

FORMED BY HAND, ONE AT A TIME

Colour is scattered onto the hot glass and rolled in while it is still soft, so the veins are drawn rather than printed. Each disc is shaped and kiln-set individually — no two carry the same pattern.

Pink swirl glass disc chandelier hanging in a sunlit living room with sheer curtains
2

LAYERED LIGHT, NOT GLARE

The discs overlap like petals, so every bulb is read through two or three layers of clouded glass. What reaches the room is soft, rippling and warm — never a bright point you have to look away from.

Four color options of the swirl glass discs shown close up in amber, rose, green and teal
3

FOUR COLOURWAYS, ONE PROCESS

Amber, blush, sage and teal all come from the same rolled-in method — only the powder changes. Disc size, tier count and finish can be specified to suit the room.
