Modern Cascade Glass Chandelier — descending tiers of frosted white glass panels, each with a rough-cast icicle edge, clipped to a slim brass-tone frame. Two sizes: ⌀ 20.1″ with four tiers, or ⌀ 22.8″ with five and a noticeably denser canopy. Adjustable chain up to 19.7″.

The glass is frosted rather than clear, so it glows softly instead of sparkling, and the uneven cast edges keep the silhouette organic rather than machined. E14 / E12 candelabra sockets — 13 on the small, 19 on the large. Hardwired, AC 110–240V, indoor dry locations.

2 Sizes ⌀ 20.1″ or ⌀ 22.8″
Tall and narrow rather than wide — it suits round tables and entryways.
4 or 5 Tiers, by Size
Four on the small, five on the large — each tier steps inward as it drops.
19.7″ Adjustable Chain
Shortened to your ceiling at installation — you set the total drop.
13 or 19 E14 / E12 Sockets
Thirteen on the small, nineteen on the large — bulbs not included.

Key Features
  • Frosted glass that glows, not glitters. The panels are frosted through rather than polished, so lit they read as a soft column of light — the opposite of a crystal chandelier's hard sparkle, and far easier to sit under.
  • Rough-cast edges, no two alike. Every panel ends in an irregular icicle edge, so the outline stays organic instead of looking stamped out — the detail that keeps it from reading as a mass-produced fixture.
  • Tall, not wide. At around 20″ across but up to 30″ deep, it fills vertical space rather than spreading — which is why it suits a round table, an entryway or a stairwell better than a long rectangular table.
  • Adjustable chain drop. Up to 19.7″ of chain, shortened at installation, so the total drop is set to your own ceiling rather than fixed at the factory.
  • The large is not just a bigger small. It adds a fifth tier and a good deal more glass, so it reads far fuller — worth knowing before you choose on diameter alone. It also carries 19 sockets against the small size’s 13. Brass-tone frame, E14 / E12 candelabra sockets, bulbs not included.

Ø 51 × H 60 cm — Small

⌀ 22.8″ × H 29.9″
Ø 58 × H 76 cm — Large

Plus up to 19.7″ of adjustable chain — the total drop is yours to set.

Which size to order
Small (⌀ 20.1″) — bedrooms, entryways, a small round table up to about 42″, or rooms around 10×10ft. Also the one to pick for an 8ft ceiling.
Large (⌀ 22.8″) — round tables 48–54″, stairwells, or rooms around 11×12ft. At H 29.9″ it wants a 9ft ceiling to look right.

Note: the large is not simply the small scaled up — it carries a fifth tier, noticeably more glass and 19 sockets against 13 — so it reads much fuller and puts out more light. If you are choosing between the two, that matters more than the 2.7″ of extra diameter.

Placement Guide

Where to Hang It, and How High

Four places this chandelier works — at home and in hospitality — with the size to choose and the clearance to aim for in each. Measure before the electrician arrives, not after.

SMALL 30–36″
Over a Dining Table

Centre it and keep the lowest glass 30–36″ above the tabletop — low enough to feel intimate, high enough to see across. The small suits round tables up to 42″, the large 48–54″.

LARGE Seen from both levels
Stairwell or Double-Height Hall

Its best room, and where the large earns its extra tier. Let more chain out so the full cascade hangs in the void and reads from the landing above as well as the floor below.

SMALL × 3 30–36″ 36–48″ apart
Restaurants, Bars & Cafés

Space a run of the small size 36–48″ apart along a bar or communal table, lowest glass 30–36″ above the counter. Frosted glass means guests opposite each other never get a bulb in the eye.

LARGE 84″ min
Hotel Lobbies & Reception

Frosted glass reads warm rather than corporate. One large over a reception desk, or a run down a lobby — five tiers hold their own under a double-height ceiling. Keep 84″ clear wherever people walk.

One measurement decides all four: floor to ceiling, minus the fixture height, minus the chain you leave. Whatever is left is your clearance — check it against the number in each drawing before you order.

Specifying for a commercial project
Order spare panels with the fixtures — glass tone varies slightly between production runs, so spares bought later may not match a run installed today.
Relamping is standard — E14 and E12 candelabra bulbs are sold everywhere, so maintenance never depends on us. Budget 13 or 19 bulbs per fixture.
Check local code — commercial installs usually need a licensed contractor, often a permit and inspection. Build that into the schedule.
Buying Advice

Three Things to Settle Before You Order

1. Measure the drop, not just the width. This fixture is taller than it is wide. Take your floor-to-ceiling height, subtract the fixture height plus however much chain you plan to leave, and check what clearance is left. Over a table you want the lowest glass 30–36″ above the top; anywhere people walk, keep 7ft of headroom.

2. Buy the bulbs before it arrives. Bulbs aren't included, and you need 13 for the small or 19 for the large — more than most people have in a drawer, so order them ahead rather than switching on to nothing. Warm white around 2700K is the right choice — anything cooler turns the frosted glass grey. Buy one or two spares from the same pack so the colour matches later.

3. Book the electrician for the same week. It's hardwired, with no plug or cord, so it can't go up until someone qualified is there. Booking that in advance is the single thing that stops a chandelier sitting boxed in a hallway for a month.

Plan the Install Before It Arrives

This One Takes a Professional

Be straight with yourself about this: it is a hardwired glass fixture and the panels go on one at a time across four tiers. Not a 20-minute job, and not a solo one.

Every Panel Wrapped Separately

The frame and the glass ship apart, each panel individually wrapped and cushioned. Unpack onto a soft surface, sort the panels by tier, and count them against the parts list before anything goes up.

Chain First, Then Glass

Hang and wire the bare frame and set the chain to your final height before a single panel goes on. Shortening the chain afterwards means taking the glass off again — the most common way this install goes wrong.

A Rated, Braced Ceiling Box

There is no plug and no cord. Fully glazed it is heavy for its size, so the ceiling box must be rated for the load and braced to a joist. Have a licensed electrician confirm it before install day.

Installer's Checklist
• Work from the top tier down, moving around the circle so the weight stays balanced
• Fit the bulbs before the lower tiers go on — reaching in afterwards is awkward
• Wear cotton gloves; frosted glass shows fingerprints more than clear glass does
• Keep the packaging until it's fully assembled and switched on
• Allow a good hour, and a second pair of hands for the glass
Questions, Answered

Before You Buy

Which of the two sizes should I order, and what ceiling height do I need?
The small is ⌀ 20.1″ × H 23.8″ (Ø 51 × H 60 cm) with four tiers; the large is ⌀ 22.8″ × H 29.9″ (Ø 58 × H 76 cm) with five tiers and a good deal more glass, so it reads much fuller rather than simply wider. Both are fixture-only measurements, with up to 19.7″ of adjustable chain on top. The small suits bedrooms, entryways, round tables up to about 42″ and rooms around 10×10ft — and it is the one to choose on a standard 8ft ceiling. The large suits round tables of 48–54″, stairwells and rooms around 11×12ft, and wants a 9ft ceiling to look right. A quick way to check: add your room's length and width in feet and aim for that number in inches of diameter. Over a table, keep the lowest glass 30–36″ above the tabletop; anywhere people walk beneath, leave 7ft of headroom.
Does it sparkle like a crystal chandelier?
No, and that is deliberate. The glass is frosted all the way through rather than polished clear, so instead of throwing hard points of light around the room it glows as a soft column. Lit, the four tiers read as one warm mass of light with the cast texture showing through; unlit, they sit against the ceiling as pale white glass with an irregular icicle edge. If you want refraction and sparkle across the ceiling, a clear-glass fixture is the better choice. If you want something that gives a room atmosphere without glare in anyone's eyes at the table, this is the point of it. It is accent and mood light — in a room you also work in, plan on downlights or lamps alongside.
How difficult is the installation?
More involved than a plain pendant, and we would rather say so up front. It is hardwired — no plug, no cord — so it mounts to a ceiling junction box that must be rated for the load and braced to a joist; we recommend a licensed electrician. The frame and glass ship separately, and once the frame is hung the panels are clipped on by hand across four tiers, working from the top down and around the circle so the weight stays balanced. Two points that save real trouble: set the chain to its final height before any glass goes on, because shortening it afterwards means removing panels; and fit the bulbs before the lower tiers, since reaching in later is awkward. Allow about an hour and a second pair of hands. If a panel arrives broken, send us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we will send a replacement — no need to return the whole fixture.
What bulbs does it take, and can I dim it?
It takes E14 / E12 candelabra bulbs — 13 sockets on the small size, 19 on the large. E12 is the standard candelabra base in the US and E14 the European equivalent; check which your fixture is fitted with before buying a pack, as the two are close in size but not interchangeable. Bulbs are not included, so order the full count plus a spare or two ahead of install day. A warm white around 2700K suits it best: frosted glass under a cool white bulb turns grey and clinical, while a warm bulb keeps it creamy. Bulb shape barely matters here since the frosted panels hide the source, so choose on brightness instead, and pick up a spare from the same pack so the colour still matches when one fails. Rated AC 110–240V, indoor dry locations only. For dimming, use dimmable E14 bulbs together with a compatible wall dimmer — standard bulbs won't dim on their own, and dimming down is where this fixture looks best in the evening.

Long glass rods hang in dense concentric rings, each row stepping inward as the tiers descend. Our Advantages

Four-step process of hand-blown swirl glass discs being shaped in an artisan workshop
1

FORMED BY HAND, ONE AT A TIME

Colour is scattered onto the hot glass and rolled in while it is still soft, so the veins are drawn rather than printed. Each disc is shaped and kiln-set individually — no two carry the same pattern.

Pink swirl glass disc chandelier hanging in a sunlit living room with sheer curtains
2

LAYERED LIGHT, NOT GLARE

The discs overlap like petals, so every bulb is read through two or three layers of clouded glass. What reaches the room is soft, rippling and warm — never a bright point you have to look away from.

Four color options of the swirl glass discs shown close up in amber, rose, green and teal
3

FOUR COLOURWAYS, ONE PROCESS

Amber, blush, sage and teal all come from the same rolled-in method — only the powder changes. Disc size, tier count and finish can be specified to suit the room.
