Smoke Grey or Clear

Smoke Grey Glass

The quieter of the two. Unlit it reads as a dark graphite panel against the wall, so it holds its shape in daylight — good in a room where the sconce should be seen even when it's off.

Clear Glass

The brighter option. Lit, the ribbing fills with warm amber light and the whole panel glows; unlit it nearly disappears into a pale wall. Choose this if you want more light out of the fixture.

Mount the centre 60–66″ from the floor — roughly eye level for most people.

Placing it on the wall
Flanking a mirror or bed — set the pair 36–40″ apart, centres level with each other, and allow for the full 23.2″ height so the tops clear any moulding.
In a hallway — it projects 8.7″, which is a lot for a corridor. In anything under about 40″ wide it will be brushed past, so measure before you commit.

Note: this is rated for dry locations only — not for a bathroom, over a tub, or anywhere it meets steam or splashing.

Buy Two, Pay Less

Sconces Belong in Pairs

Pair pricing. Two sconces ordered together cost less per piece than two bought separately, and ship in one carton instead of two — so the saving is on the fixtures and on the freight.

Glass matches best within a batch. This is the practical reason. Tinted glass varies very slightly in depth of colour between production runs — invisible on its own, but noticeable when two sconces face each other across a mirror. Ordered together, both come from the same batch.

One sconce rarely looks finished. Beside a bed, a mirror, a fireplace or a doorway, the eye expects symmetry — a single sconce reads as an unfinished wall. The exception is a stair wall or a long hallway, where a run of three or four spaced evenly works better than a pair.

Plan the Install Before It Arrives

Hardwired, and the Glass Goes On by Hand

Be straight with yourself about this: there is no plug and no cord. If the wall has no box where you want the sconce, this becomes an electrical job before it becomes a decorating one.

A Wall Box Where You Want It

It hardwires to a wall junction box. Most walls don't have one at 60–66″ height, so running the cable and setting boxes — two of them for a pair — is the first job, and one for a licensed electrician.

Every Panel Wrapped Separately

The backplate and the reeded panels ship apart, each panel individually wrapped and cushioned. Unpack onto a soft surface and count the pieces against the parts list before anything goes on the wall.

Frame First, Glass Last

Mount and wire the bare frame, check it sits level, then clip the panels on tier by tier. Fitting a pair takes patience — get both frames level with each other before any glass goes on, because adjusting afterwards means taking panels off again.

Before You Buy

How high should I mount it, and how far apart for a pair?
Mount the centre of the sconce 60–66″ from the floor — roughly eye level, and the standard for most rooms. Since the fixture is 23.2″ tall, that puts the top at around 72–78″, so check it clears any picture rail or crown moulding first. For a pair flanking a mirror, bed or fireplace, set them 36–40″ apart with their centres level. In a hallway or up a stair wall, space a run of them 8–10ft apart. One more measurement worth taking: it projects 8.7″ from the wall, which is substantial for a corridor — in a hallway narrower than about 40″ it will get knocked.
Should I order one or a pair?
A pair, in most cases — and it costs less per sconce than ordering twice, since they ship together. Beyond price there is a practical reason specific to glass: tinted glass varies slightly in colour depth between production runs. On a single sconce you would never notice, but two sconces facing each other across a mirror will show it. Ordered together, both come from the same batch. Symmetry matters too — beside a bed, mirror, fireplace or doorway, a lone sconce tends to read as an unfinished wall. The exceptions are a stair wall or a long hallway, where three or four spaced evenly look better than a pair, and a small powder room or reading nook where one is genuinely enough.
How difficult is the installation, and can I use it in a bathroom?
Taking the bathroom part first: no. This is rated for indoor dry locations only, so it is not suitable over a tub or shower, or anywhere it meets steam and splashing. As for the install, it is hardwired — no plug, no cord — so it needs a wall junction box at mounting height. Few walls have one at 60–66″, which means running cable and setting boxes (two, for a pair) before the sconce goes anywhere near the wall. That part is a licensed electrician's job. After that, the backplate and glass panels ship separately: mount and wire the frame, check it is level, then clip the reeded panels on by hand tier by tier. With a pair, get both frames level with each other before fitting any glass — correcting afterwards means removing panels again. If a panel arrives broken, send us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we will send a replacement.
What bulbs does it take, and how much light does it give?
It takes E14 bulbs, not included, so you can match the colour and output you want. A warm white around 2700K suits it best — it brings amber into the reeded glass, where a cool white leaves it looking grey and flat. On brightness, be realistic about what a sconce is for: it is accent and atmosphere light that washes the wall above and below, not a room's main source. The clear colourway puts out noticeably more light than the smoke grey. A pair either side of a mirror gives good, even light on a face; a pair in a living room adds warmth at the edges but won't replace a ceiling fixture. Rated AC 110–240V, indoor dry locations only. For dimming, use dimmable bulbs with a compatible wall dimmer.

Address Errors or Changes

Once a package is shipped, we cannot guarantee successful address changes, and carriers may charge additional fees for address modifications. If you need to change your address after shipment, we will send you an invoice to cover these extra fees.

Refused, Lost, or Stolen Packages

If your package shows a "Delivered" status but you cannot locate it, please first check your surrounding area or contact your neighbors. If it is still not found after 7 days, please contact us immediately so we can assist you.

1.1 Return Period

Our standard return window is 30 days from the date you receive your order. This timeframe is calculated based on the delivery date confirmed in your logistics tracking record. To be eligible for a return, you must submit your return request within this 30-day period. Unfortunately, we cannot process returns or exchanges for items delivered more than 30 days ago.

1.2 Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
  • The item is in its original, unused condition, with all original tags, labels, and packaging intact.
  • All accessories, manuals, and included components are complete and undamaged.
  • Items requiring assembly must be returned unassembled. Items that have been installed, have damaged wiring, or loose crystals are not eligible for return.
  • You can provide a valid order number or proof of purchase.

1.3 Cost Responsibility for Returns

The party responsible for return shipping costs depends on the reason for the return:

2. Exchange Policy

The fastest way to get the item you want is to first return the original item in accordance with this policy. Once your return is approved, you can place a new order for the desired item.
  • For exchanges due to product quality issues or shipping damage, we will cover all costs for returning the original item and shipping the new replacement.
  • For exchanges initiated for personal reasons, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost of the original item, as well as the full purchase price of the new item.

3. Order Cancellation

  • Customized Products: Once your order for a customized product is confirmed, it cannot be canceled, as we begin production immediately.
  • Non-Customized Products:
    • You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, free of charge.
    • If you cancel after 24 hours but before your order has been shipped, a $50 handling fee will apply.
    • Once your order has been shipped, it can no longer be canceled, and you will need to follow the return process outlined above.
