Every Ribbon Wrapped Separately

The frame and the glass ship apart, with each ribbon individually wrapped and cushioned. Unpack onto a soft surface and count the pieces against the parts list before you start.

Frame First, Glass Last — Two People

Mount and wire the bare frame, then hang the ribbons tier by tier by hand, working around the circle so the weight stays even. Plan on a second pair of hands and a good hour of patience.

Hardwired to a Junction Box

There is no plug and no cord. It fixes to a ceiling junction box rated for the load and wires in — use a licensed electrician, and check the box is secure before the glass goes on.

Will it work with an 8-foot ceiling, and which of the two sizes should I order?
Yes. This is a semi-flush ceiling light, not a pendant: both sizes are 9.8″ (25cm) tall with no chain or rod, so on a standard 8ft ceiling you keep over 7ft of headroom underneath. For diameter, the ⌀ 17.7″ (45cm) suits rooms up to about 9×9ft — bedrooms, entryways, walk-in closets, hallways and small kitchens. The ⌀ 23.6″ (60cm) suits rooms around 10×12ft to 13×13ft, and works over a dining table roughly 36–48″ wide. A quick way to check: add your room's length and width in feet, and aim for that number in inches. In a long hallway, two of the smaller size spaced 8–10ft apart light the run more evenly than a single fixture.
What are the four options, and which should I choose?
The glass comes in clear or amber, and the frame in chrome-finish or brass-finish — four combinations in total. Clear glass with chrome is the brightest and coolest, and suits white or grey rooms. Clear with brass keeps the light clean while picking up gold hardware and warm wood — the most versatile of the four. Amber with chrome sets warm glass against cool metal for the most vintage look. Amber with brass is fully warm and gives the most golden light, which works well over a small dining table. The simplest rule: follow the metal already on your cabinet handles, taps and door hardware.
How difficult is the installation?
More involved than a plain flush mount, and we would rather say so up front. It is hardwired — no plug, no cord — so it fixes to a ceiling junction box rated for the load and wires in; we recommend a licensed electrician. The frame and the glass ship separately, and once the frame is mounted each glass ribbon is hung by hand, tier by tier, working around the circle to keep the weight even. Allow about an hour and a second pair of hands. No special tools are needed, but the glass does need care. If a ribbon arrives broken, send us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we will send a replacement — you do not need to return the whole fixture.
What bulbs does it take, and can I dim it?
It uses standard G9 bulbs — the small two-pin capsule type, widely sold in both LED and halogen. They are not included, so you can match the colour and output you want. A warm white around 2700K suits it best: it keeps the amber glass golden and gives the clear glass bright highlights through the ripple texture. Clear capsules show the most sparkle; frosted ones give a softer wash. Because G9 capsules are small, they stay hidden behind the tiers rather than showing through the glass. The fixture is rated AC 110–240V and is for indoor, dry locations only. For dimming, use dimmable G9 bulbs together with a compatible wall dimmer — standard bulbs will not dim on their own.

Our standard return window is 30 days from the date you receive your order. This timeframe is calculated based on the delivery date confirmed in your logistics tracking record. To be eligible for a return, you must submit your return request within this 30-day period. Unfortunately, we cannot process returns or exchanges for items delivered more than 30 days ago.

1.2 Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
  • The item is in its original, unused condition, with all original tags, labels, and packaging intact.
  • All accessories, manuals, and included components are complete and undamaged.
  • Items requiring assembly must be returned unassembled. Items that have been installed, have damaged wiring, or loose crystals are not eligible for return.

2. Exchange Policy

The fastest way to get the item you want is to first return the original item in accordance with this policy. Once your return is approved, you can place a new order for the desired item.
  • For exchanges due to product quality issues or shipping damage, we will cover all costs for returning the original item and shipping the new replacement.
  • For exchanges initiated for personal reasons, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost of the original item, as well as the full purchase price of the new item.

3. Order Cancellation

  • Customized Products: Once your order for a customized product is confirmed, it cannot be canceled, as we begin production immediately.
  • Non-Customized Products:
    • You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, free of charge.
    • If you cancel after 24 hours but before your order has been shipped, a $50 handling fee will apply.
