The Sphere, Then the Sentence: Alabaster Globes and Chain Chandeliers
An alabaster globe pendant is the material reduced to its simplest sentence, one lit sphere of veined stone, and the chain chandelier is that sentence made into a paragraph: stone links repeating down a run, sized like any linear fixture at half to two thirds of the table, each stone lit warm and dimmed low.

Why does the globe carry so well?
A sphere has no front.
