Kasa means "cap" in Japanese – the soft, sheltering hat of a mushroom. Picture a forest floor after autumn rain: a single mushroom pushes up through the moss, its cap still wet and shining, freckled with tiny dewdrops. The glass shade drapes over the light like a piece of silk dropped from your hand, falling into gentle waves at the hem.

Switched off, Kasa is a glossy glass sculpture. Switched on, the cap lights up from within and a soft pool of light settles on the table beneath it – the colour of the glass carries into the room.

Three details give Kasa its character – each one borrowed from a mushroom after the rain: the soft drape of the cap, the dewdrops on its skin, and the little knot at the very top.

What is the Woorglamp Kasa Mushroom Table Lamp?
It's a glass mushroom table lamp with a draped handkerchief shade, a round glass globe base and a brass-tone finial. It comes in eight colourways and takes a standard E26/E27 bulb (not included).
Which colours are available?
Eight colourways: Olive Green with Pink Dots, Olive Green, Dark Brown with White Dots, Dark Brown, Bold Red with Black Dots, White with Black Dots, Pure White and Frosted Amber.
What's the difference between dotted and plain?
Dotted colourways have small rounded glass dots scattered across the cap; plain colourways have a smooth cap. Frosted Amber has a satin-frosted finish instead of glossy glass.

What colour temperature is the light?
It depends on the bulb you use. Choose a warm-white bulb for a cosy glow, or any E26/E27 bulb up to 40W.
