A warm white around 2700K suits all three colours — a cool white flattens the amber and turns the aqua greenish and cold. On the tint: yes, the light carries the colour of the glass, and that is the point of choosing a coloured fixture. Amber gives a deep honey glow, rose a soft warm-pink cast, aqua the most noticeable shift of the three. It is atmospheric light rather than true-colour light, so in a kitchen or workspace plan on downlights alongside it. The chain and fittings come in brass-tone or nickel, so the metal can follow whichever hardware the room already has. The ribbing also matters: light leaves in soft vertical bands and escapes upward through the flared tops, washing the ceiling as well as the room.
